Lauren joined BPW&C in December 2012 as an intern. While working for our firm part-time, she completed her BBA at UNM with a concentration in accounting and graduated in the spring of 2013.
When not working, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband & dog, and volunteering at her church.
Christina Bryant joined BPW&C in 2012. She earned her BBA degree, concentration in Accounting, at the University of New Mexico. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in the consulting department of a local CPA firm in Albuquerque.
Shannon Elliott joined the BPW&C firm in 2005, after receiving a Bachelor’s Degree of Accountancy from the University of New Mexico the same year. Shannon’s responsibilities include tax preparation and audits of not-for-profit organizations, construction companies and other non-public businesses.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jeanne Gill has been with BPW&C since 2005, specializing in Financial Reporting and Assurance work, Tax Returns, and other special client projects. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Boston University; her MBA from Suffolk University in Boston; her Certificate in Accountancy from Villanova; and a Certificate in Web Development from Penn State University. Jeanne previously worked designing and developing computer-based financial applications, primarily in the mutual funds industry.
Jeanne is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants. Jeanne also participates in the mentorship program with the New Mexico Society of CPAs.
In her spare time, she enjoys dog training, reading and working out at the gym.
Sherry D. Gonzales joined BPW&C in December 2012. Sherry has more than 20 years of professional experience in accounting. Prior to joining the BPW&C team, she worked in the local CPA arena for 12 years and spent the prior 8 years as a Controller for a restaurant and hotel services company, Payroll and Benefits Manager for a computer and service reseller and Senior Accountant for a local insurance administration company. Sherry received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree in 2009 and received her education at CNM, UNM and NAU.
Nicholas Hoffman has been with BPW&C since 2006. His work is primarily in tax return preparation and other related duties. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Adams State College and an MBA with a concentration in Policy and Planning from University of New Mexico, as well as an MACC from UNM in 2006. Prior to joining the firm, Nicholas served as Executive Director of a small 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
When not crunching numbers, he is interested in hockey, fantasy football and raising his young child.
Ashley Jones joined BPW&C in 2011. She earned her BBA degree, concentration in Accounting, at the University of Arizona. Prior to joining the firm, she worked with a mid-sized local CPA firm in Albuquerque.
Stacy became a full-time associate in January 2013, after completing her MBA at the Anderson School of Business at the University of New Mexico. Stacy has worked for the firm as a part-time intern, starting in 2005, while she completed her high school and BBA degree at University of New Mexico.
Teresa McKillip earned her BBA degree, concentration in Accounting, at the University of New Mexico. She had ten years of general accounting experience with various local businesses prior to joining BPW&C as an Associate in July 2008.
Sharon Miller, an Associate at BPW&C, joined the firm in March 1983. She has been involved in client write-up services, assisting clients with bookkeeping and payroll issues, preparing tax returns and assisting with preparation of compiled financial statements in the past. Sharon is now the Firm’s office manager.
Michael Mirabal has been an associate with BPW&C since 2010. He received his BBA with a concentration in accounting, as well as a Masters degree in Accounting; both from the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management. Michael deals primarily with tax matters, assisting clients with bookkeeping, accounting and other issues as needed.
Away from the office, Michael enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking and camping.
Jabeen Vagh has been with BPW&C since 2007. She received a BBA in Accounting from the University of New Mexico. Prior to joining BPW&C, she owned her own import-export business and worked for another mid-sized local CPA firm. Jabeen’s responsibilities include audit, consulting and tax preparation.
She is a member of the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a Board Member for All Faith’s Receiving Home Foundation.
